Tree pruning

Many people don't realize the importance of tree pruning and the benefits it provides. Tree pruning removes portions of your tree which have decay, disease, or fungi. Leaving these sections intact and compromised allows for these issues to grow and spread to other areas of your tree (which is when damage happens to your property as well). Tree pruning prevents these events from happening and greatly reduces the risks involved. 

We personally recommend a yearly inspection to determine whether or not it's needed. Along with a five  year period between pruning and trimming to ensure your trees structure isn't compromised and is in a healthy state. However, there are different variables we need to take into consideration when recommending a specific time cycle. We personally recommend leaving pruning to tree experts. Pruning trees without the proper experience can create more stress than the tree can actually handle, damaging your tree and potentially killing it over time. There are certain guidelines we follow to ensure we are safely and effectively pruning your tree to promote a strong structure and overall health to your tree. 

There are many different signs that your tree needs to be pruned. If your tree is showing signs of weak branches, decay, or rot (or even if too much growth is occurring) it's probably a safe bet that it's time to have your tree pruned.
